Today is his Birthday. 2 Years ago this Camaro was baptized as The DLOPM-1 (Dark Lord Of Pin-Up Mobile -1)
Best thing that I ever owned or happened to me. You'll never believe the story of how I got it, which is a crazy one.
An American Muscle Car Legend with a Mexican Engine, Canadian Transmission, Italian Tires and everything else Chinese.
My first Car. My Best Friend ever.
He have more daily compliments than my art.
So many adventures. So many close calls. No single accidents. Those (girls) who had ride with me can tell that I'm a good driver.
So many shows that we had done together. HELL! I had put my entire SD Comic Con booth inside of this car and still have extra space for a beautiful model.
Speaking of which. YOU WOULD NEVER BELIEVE HOW MANY BEAUTIFUL MODELS AND LEGENDARY PIN-UP GODDESSES HAD RIDE SHOTGUN IN THIS CAR!. LIKE ...A LOT. This car, or at least the right seat, is a Pin-Up Legend by itself.
So much fun.
It breaks my heart that I'm gonna trade him for something new, The DLOPM-2. I feel like a traitor. I wish I was rich so I can keep it, but I'm not.
Anyway, I may take at least the right seat and put it in a museum or so.
How many crazy things and sacrifices are you willing to do to get that car that you really want?

I'm right there along with ya. I've wanted one of these since they first came out with the new models. I fell in love at first sight.
Today? I own a 2012 2LT RS. Got her in may as my birthday present. It's the best thing that's ever happened to me. My new catch phrase? "It's okay. I drive a Camaro." I'm pretty sure almost everyone I work with is tired of hearing it. I know I'm not tired of saying it, though.
Although, your car has seen enough in his time. Let him retire a happy Camaro and upgrade without feeling the guilt. I'm sure he won't mind passing on the torch.
Merry Christmas and all the best in 2013!
