I didn't used a reference for the latex texture. Basically I followed the lights and shadows of the body in the photos that I have.
My master, Hajime Sorayama said once: Understand and study the reflection of the light.
I can draw a waterfall if I have a photo of a single drop of water.
After years of practice, I know and understand the reflection of the light over the latex. Therefore I just need to know where's this light hitting and I will turn anything into latex, or wood, crystal, metal, rock etc.
The process of drawing goes like this: Observation - Understanding - Practice.
Draw with your eyes, not your hand.

Words fail. Not only is the application of light impressive, but the subtle expression in her eyes, the precision of her hands. ĄDios mio, mang! How many banks do I have to rob to have you do one of these for me, Armando?
