About this painting.
20x30 Acrylics on Board. 50% Pencils, 20% Airbrushing, 30% fine Paint Brush. No digital Mediums were used. This is tangible. This technique (and pretty much all my art) is based in the drawing. I completed the whole thing with pencils and then I add color to it. Basically coloring the pencil or adding color to the pencil. I'm not, by any means, a master of the airbrush. My technique is based on the drawing. And that's why my art is far away from those who try to finish it up with just the airbrush. It's all about detail and time.
Pure Pin-Up Style. Old school.About the Tragedy of converting Traditional Art into digital files.
I worked with the best. The best Fine Art experts in the World. Those who work with George Lucas, Pablo Picasso's State and similar. With the best technology available. So high end that they never allow me to see it, never mentioned brands or model numbers. However I always had something to complain about the scans they did of my art. I'm picky lol. They eventually let me know the reality. Let me have it. They told me: 'Stop. You will never have a file close to the original. Never. Specially you, with all those fine and sweet gradients and tones. Not you, not Rembrandt, not Pablo Picasso. Because WE don't have the technology YET. To catch the texture and billions of colors that there is in your originals. There's no camera or scanner able to do the job yet. We don't have it, so nobody has it. We are giving you the best, human possible. Technology has it's limits'.
Then I understand and assimilate the reality. We all have different computers with different monitors with different settings. So it is useless. You will never see the colors that I see in my monitor. I just try to keep the same settings as my printer.
Only the one who have the Original Painting can see and appreciate the whole plethora of colors and textures. Only the ONE, who posses and owns the Original. And that's why a Pablo Picasso Original Painting is THAT expensive.
Anyway, you can try and bid on this original painting ---> [link]
There's not technology available to catch Traditional Art, yet. I hope to live long enough to see that happen. About the Model.
is the living definition of Beauty. In flesh and soul. Like a living Fairy, a living Goddess. This is the first of so many paintings that I'm going to do of her. I will paint her over and over till the rest of my life. We have so much things in common and we enjoy the same things. Perfect model for the perfect artist?. No, I will never match her beauty, even if I try hard.
